Dual channel MPEG-2 encoder with ASI output
Features:
MPEG-2 encoder realizes a conversion of two television programs in a MPEG2 ASI (TS ASI) transport stream. This device is targeted in cable television networks both digital and mixed (digital and analog in one network) for broadcasting TV programs which can not be obtained from the satellite in the form of TS ASI or broadcasting own built programs.
MPEG-2 encoder provides a broadcasting quality conversion up to 2 TV programs (video + stereo sound) each program, which are multiplexed in one stream and transmitted on to ASI interface to the output.
MPEG-2 encoder works on the input both with the analog and digital SDI signals with embedded audio (SDI Embedded audio).
The input of the device (TS ASI) is connected to the cable network equipment with the ASI input, particularly to the 8ASI/DVB-C converter. It carries out all necessary changes such as: channel demultiplexing, program packet forming, multiplexing and scrambling, QAM modulation and transfer to the IF or channel frequency (depending on the model).
MPEG-2 encoder allows overlying logo on each of two input video signals. The supplied software allows recording and controlling a logo distribution from a PC as well as regulating and adjusting up to 16 parameters of MPEG-2 encoder.
